Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Samuilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sirenni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuilov comes to the cage accompanied by Flipsyde - Someday. Tommy Sirenni is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirenni has his takedown stuffed

and Samuilov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Sirenni won't allow Samuilov to pass to mount.
Samuilov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sirenni is trying to control but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sirenni can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sirenni regains full guard. Nicely done.
Samuilov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Samuilov cracks Sirenni with a solid left hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Samuilov enables Sirenni to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Samuilov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sirenni stands and throws Samuilov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Samuilov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sirenni off and has taken his back!
Samuilov is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Samuilov gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Samuilov gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Samuilov apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Sirenni closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Samuilov to the mat! Samuilov manages to get full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sirenni is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Samuilov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Samuilov has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Samuilov is looking to work some ground and pound but Sirenni has wrist control.
Samuilov won't allow Sirenni to sweep him here.

Sirenni working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Samuilov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Samuilov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tommy Sirenni showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Samuilov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Sirenni tries for a takedown but Samuilov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Samuilov shoots in and drives through. Sirenni sprawls well.

Sirenni darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Samuilov is not content to let Sirenni control the position.
Samuilov is looking for a sweep. Sirenni is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sirenni is keen to just control but Samuilov is a slippery customer.

Sirenni is fighting to break Samuilov's control of his arms but Samuilov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Samuilov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sirenni's guard.
Sirenni can't keep his opponent in guard - Samuilov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Samuilov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Sirenni is looking to improve his position but Samuilov isn't that keen on the idea.
BOOM! Samuilov connects with a massive shot to the dome!
