The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Japlyn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spirit's waist but Spirit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Japlyn off to one side.
Japlyn takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Wik Japlyn has been cut.
Spirit scores with a nice strike.
Spirit throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Japlyn.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Spirit throws a head kick but Japlyn moves out of range.
Japlyn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spirit pinned against the cage. Spirit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Japlyn walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Spirit! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
