Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marquardt Shelmenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Kolpakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolpakov has chosen Alisa - Aerobica as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolpakov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A cross from Kolpakov lands.
Nice sprawl there from Kolpakov as Shelmenko shoots in.
Marquardt Shelmenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shelmenko dives in and grabs Kolpakov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kolpakov pushes down on Shelmenko's head and hops out.
Kolpakov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Shelmenko in his tracks.
Shelmenko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kolpakov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shelmenko manages to avoid it.
Kolpakov stuffs the takedown attempt from Shelmenko. Shelmenko gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marquardt Shelmenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shelmenko shoots in for a double leg but Kolpakov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shelmenko tries for a takedown but Kolpakov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kolpakov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shelmenko doesn't seem bothered though.
Good standup being displayed there by Kolpakov as he connects with a hook.
Kolpakov throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kolpakov punishes Shelmenko's body with a nice straight punch.
Shelmenko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Shelmenko is rocked!
Shelmenko leaves his chin hanging out and Kolpakov seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Shelmenko crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
