Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez throws a hook but Hokoyashi avoids it easily.

Hokoyashi throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hokoyashi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hokoyashi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rodriguez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rodriguez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rodriguez!

Rodriguez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hokoyashi, who protects the arm well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Edmilson Rodriguez has been cut.

Rodriguez gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Oh Rodriguez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Oooh a big shot lands for Hokoyashi! Rodriguez is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

A relieved looking Fudo Hokoyashi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
