The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piotrowski throws a right and a left that Hawkwing avoids nicely.
Hawkwing tries to score a power double leg takedown but Piotrowski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hawkwing somewhat.
Piotrowski looks to land a combination but Hawkwing avoids it well.
Hawkwing misses with an attempted mid kick.
Piotrowski throws a sloppy head kick and Hawkwing moves out of range easily.
Piotrowski moves out of range of the body kick.
Piotrowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hawkwing.
Hawkwing shoots in looking for a takedown. Piotrowski tries to sprawl out of it but Hawkwing keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Piotrowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by Hawkwing or perhaps it was just good defense by Piotrowski which made him look bad.

Hawkwing is trying desperately to land a takedown but Piotrowski is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hawkwing.
