0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, The Remarkable Tessin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, King Fists! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tessin tries to clinch up. Tessin avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tessin avoids the body shot from Fists.
Tessin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like King Fists has been cut. Tessin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fists throws a right and a left that both miss. Fists misses the shot to the body. A thudding body kick lands there by Tessin!
Tessin throws a good cross that connects.
Fists misses with a few strikes there.
Fists throws an overhand right that lands on Tessin's shoulder, as Tessin tries to avoid the shot. Fists takes one on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tessin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fists. Tessin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tessin is looking to clinch. Tessin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Tessin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. King Fists seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tessin lands with a nice body punch. Fists walks into a jab. Tessin slips under a jab. Tessin staying out of range there. Tessin with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tessin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Tessin works over Fists's head and body with a nice combination. Tessin connects with a single shot there. Tessin scores with a head kick. Fists tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fists is rocked! Tessin lands a big head kick that sends Fists tumbling to the mat! Tessin takes a step backwards and waves Fists back to his feet - he wants the finish! Fists is still on wobbly legs! Can Tessin finish him?
That has opened up King Fists's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! BAM! Tessin delivers a spinning backfist that drops Fists like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
