Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Shaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Vlee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaffer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Midnight At The Oasis by Maria Muldaur. Ivan Vlee looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Shaffer misses.
Vlee looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Vlee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A combination from Vlee does no damage.
Shaffer misses with the combination.

Shaffer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vlee is defended easily by Shaffer.
Vlee throws a head kick that misses.
Shaffer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vlee, pushing him back against the cage.
Shaffer has hold of one of Vlee's legs. Vlee is fighting the takedown attempt but Shaffer gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Shaffer lands a couple of digs.
Shaffer cracks Vlee with a solid left hand.
Shaffer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vlee on the ground.
Shaffer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vlee's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shaffer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vlee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Shaffer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Shaffer cracks Vlee with a solid left hand.
Vlee is rocked!
Shaffer passes into half guard.
Vlee is still in real trouble! Can Shaffer finish him?
Shaffer frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Shaffer softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Vlee is out cold! Shaffer jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Shaffer!
A relieved looking Al Shaffer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
