The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buzzatti misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Buzzatti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Buzzatti getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Buzzatti seems to be looking for submissions.
Silva is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva wants to stand but Buzzatti has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Silva lands a couple of elbows.
Buzzatti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva stuffs the takedown.
Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Buzzatti to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buzzatti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Buzzatti drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buzzatti jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Buzzatti!

Silva wants to control the pace but Buzzatti is squirming around nicely.
Cesare Buzzatti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva connects with a bit shot that sees Buzzatti covering up! More strikes from Silva and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Silva is our winner by TKO!
