Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuo Torajima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoju Bayushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bayushi has chosen Masta Killa as his entrance music. Tetsuo Torajima could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shoju Bayushi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsuo Torajima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoju Bayushi! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torajima scores a takedown into full mount! Torajima lands a nice shot to the head. Bayushi really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Torajima trying to control but he's not successful this time. Torajima controlling the position easily from mount. Torajima prevents Bayushi from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torajima can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bayushi is looking to escape. Bayushi is desperately trying to improve his position but Torajima has a good base and remains in mount. Bayushi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Torajima trying to control but Bayushi is having none of it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bayushi manages to regain half guard. Good work. Torajima missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bayushi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bayushi actively working from the bottom here. Bayushi looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torajima trying to control from Bayushi's half guard. Bayushi has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bayushi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Torajima is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bayushi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Torajima's back instead. Torajima rolls, trying to escape but Bayushi keeps control of the position.
Well, with Bayushi on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Torajima is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Torajima is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bayushi gets his way!
Torajima defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bayushi's arms. Torajima is trying to defend against the choke here but Bayushi has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Bayushi Tightens the hold and Torajima taps out furiously! Bayushi displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shoju Bayushi!
