Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fallon Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brooks's choice of entrance music: (Matallica) Ride the lightning. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fox.
Fox closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Brooks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fox moves into the clinch.
Brooks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fox closes the distance and clinches.
Fox misses with an elbow over the top.
Fox takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Fallon Fox has been cut.
Fox using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Brooks has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Brooks.
Brooks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brooks pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fox showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brooks.
Fox closes the distance and clinches.
Brooks blocks an elbow strike from Fox.
Fox is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brooks is defending well for now.
Brooks scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Fox is breathing heavily.
Brooks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Brooks lands with a cross.
Brooks lands an overhand right.
Brooks misses with a wild combination.
Brooks moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Whack! Brooks lands a heavy head kick that drops Fox. The ref tackles Brooks to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Fox was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jason Brooks!
Jason Brooks took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I can do this I want the win and the title and I will do it.'.
