Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Gonzalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre comes to the cage accompanied by Master of Puppets. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalos smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
St Pierre postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gonzalos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of St Pierre, into his guard.

St Pierre's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that George St Pierre will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to George St Pierre.
