Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanne looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Washburn blocks a low kick nicely.
Kanne throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kanne fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Washburn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kanne drives through and clinches with Washburn against the cage.
Kanne is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Washburn goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kanne prevents it.

A solid leg kick lands there for Kanne.

and Kanne counters with a low kick, right behind Washburn 's knee.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Washburn shoots in but Kanne avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Washburn jumps guard but Kanne stands there with Washburn around his waist. Washburn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
