The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tuuri defends it nicely.

Pain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tuuri's waist but Tuuri gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pain off to one side.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tuuri is looking to control Pain's arms but Pain gets an underhook and turns him. Now Tuuri has his back to the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Pain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuuri tries to avoid it but Pain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuuri to the ground. Tuuri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Raopi Tuuri is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Tuuri throws a front kick aimed at Pain's knee but Pain avoids it well.
Pain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tuuri sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pain somewhat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tuuri, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
