Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaco Dosantos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentino Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jaco Dosantos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Valentino Soto! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dosantos fails with the takedown and Soto counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Dosantos trying to control from the bottom.
Soto not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dosantos trying to hold on to Soto's head to control him but Soto postures up.
Soto throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dosantos regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Soto. Soto postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Soto postures up in Dosantos's guard and throws a big left but Dosantos blocks it. Soto missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dosantos has momentary wrist control but Soto slips an elbow through the middle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Soto postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dosantos looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Soto has picked Dosantos up and slammed him! Dosantos can't keep hold of the triangle and Soto manages to pass to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Soto. Soto working the head and body with strikes. Soto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dosantos has escaped the position, nice work there. Soto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dosantos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dosantos wants to control but Soto postures up. Dosantos takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dosantos is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dosantos is breathing heavily. Soto is chipping away with strikes.
Soto postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soto working away. Dosantos takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Soto looks up at the clock and then as Dosantos takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Soto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Soto scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Dosantos to see if he's OK. Dosantos dodges the ground and pound from Soto. Soto throws a strike aimed at the side of Dosantos's head but Dosantos avoids it well. Soto has hold of Dosantos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dosantos seems comfortable defending it but Soto has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dosantos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dosantos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Soto couldn't care less - he's delighted!
