Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez keeps the fight on the outside.
Chops tries to clinch up.

Gomez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chops circles away.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chops but Chops pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gomez goes for a takedown attempt but Chops pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chops closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gomez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gomez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chops swivels and escapes.
Gomez looks winded!
Gomez tries to bum rush Chops with a series of wild strikes but Chops uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sir Chops is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gomez misses with a low kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Gomez is trying to pull guard but Chops turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gomez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gomez avoids a wild elbow strike from Chops.

Gomez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chops gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Chops lands a good knee to the midsection. Gomez won't want to take too many of those.

Chops has Gomez pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Gomez is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Chops - that's hurt Gomez badly! Oh, another knee lands and Gomez is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Gomez doesn't seem to be complaining.
