The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama throws a quick inside leg kick.
Winkler throws the left hand but Funkyama avoids the punch easily.
Winkler misses with a wild combination.
Winkler loads up on a big right hand but Funkyama slips the punch.
Funkyama is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Winkler clobbers Funkyama with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Vinnie Funkyama has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Winkler misses with a hook.
Funkyama misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
An inside leg kick from Funkyama misses.
Winkler lands a nice looking body shot.
Funkyama throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd cheers as Winkler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Funkyama doesn't seem phased though.
Winkler jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Winkler cracks Funkyama with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Funkyama looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Winkler finish him?

Funkyama seems to have recovered his senses.

Winkler connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Funkyama covering up! Winkler comes in with a big uppercut and Funkyama goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
