Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. let the bodies hit the floor kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roberto Colon! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colon moves into the clinch successfully.
Gracie tries to score a body lock takedown but Colon shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Colon is defending well against a takedown attempt. Gracie trying to land knees to the body.
Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Colon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Colon is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Colon down to the mat. Colon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Colon scores with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Colon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Colon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Colon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head. Colon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gracie controls Colon momentarily but Colon frees himself. Colon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Gracie shoots and misses and Colon counters with a one-two to the body. Gracie throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Colon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gracie's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colon postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Colon is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Colon has managed to sneak the leg through. Colon working over Gracie with some ground and pound. Gracie looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Colon in particular looking to stall. Gracie taking some punishment here, with Colon in his half guard. Colon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Colon.
Colon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracie sees it coming and defends easily. Colon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gracie defending well though. Colon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Colon is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colon seems to be looking for submissions.
Colon works his way into side control. Colon is trying to get an arm triangle but Gracie is defending well. Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nice strikes from Colon there. Colon is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer. Colon trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking to control Colon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gracie avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Colon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Colon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Colon is aware though and is defending well. Gracie trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roberto Colon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gracie with a poor takedown and Colon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Colon avoids the head kick by Gracie.
Colon throws a one two combo.
Gracie is rocked! Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Colon drops his shoulder and cracks Gracie with a huge uppercut! Gracie goes down! Can Colon finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colon trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Colon is aware though and is defending well. Colon lands a couple of elbows. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Colon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Colon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Colon arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Gracie's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Roberto Colon! Roberto Colon spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
