The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and McTearson counters with a nice body kick.

McTearson throws a low kick but Falaris moves out of range easily.

and McTearson counters with a lovely shot to the body.

McTearson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Marcus Falaris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for McTearson.

McTearson tries to keep at a distance but Falaris has taken the fight into the clinch.

McTearson gets through Falaris's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

McTearson lands an elbow inside that Falaris shrugs off.


It looks like Marcus Falaris has been cut.
Falaris pushes off an throws an elbow but McTearson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Falaris's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
McTearson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.


Falaris is rocked!
McTearson unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Oh Falaris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Falaris is breathing heavily.
McTearson creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Falaris's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Falaris drops to his knees and McTearson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufus McTearson!
During a confident post fight interview, Rufus McTearson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
