Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ignat Kaigorodov! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Kaigorodov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kaigorodov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kaigorodov is looking for a kimura here.

Kaigorodov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jab Johnson wants to control but Kaigorodov is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kaigorodov being controlled here momentarily. Kaigorodov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jab Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kaigorodov has managed to get both his arms back between Jab Johnson's legs - danger averted. Jab Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kaigorodov has gone for a leg lock! Jab Johnson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kaigorodov's guard. Kaigorodov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jab Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kaigorodov is looking for a triangle but Jab Johnson pushes his legs off easily.
Jab Johnson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kaigorodov's guard. Jab Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kaigorodov is just riding it out for now. Jab Johnson eventually gives up the hold. Kaigorodov actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab Johnson wants to control but Kaigorodov is keeping him busy. Kaigorodov is pressing down on Jab Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. This has been an exciting period of action! Jab Johnson forces his way into half guard. Jab Johnson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kaigorodov sees it coming and defends easily. Jab Johnson is looking for a kimura but Kaigorodov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jab Johnson to get the leverage. Kaigorodov actively working from the bottom here. Kaigorodov tries to roll over but Jab Johnson keeps him under control. Kaigorodov moves into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kaigorodov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jab Johnson passes Kaigorodov's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kaigorodov is refusing to be controlled, as Jab Johnson sits in half guard. Kaigorodov won't allow Jab Johnson to pass to mount. Jab Johnson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kaigorodov moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaigorodov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kaigorodov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jab Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jab Johnson advances to half guard. Jab Johnson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kaigorodov defends it well. Kaigorodov won't allow Jab Johnson to pass to mount. Kaigorodov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kaigorodov tries to roll over but Jab Johnson keeps him under control. Kaigorodov actively working from the bottom here. Jab Johnson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jab Johnson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kaigorodov defend it? Jab Johnson steps over the head and cranks it - Kaigorodov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jab Johnson!
