Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Simans was covering up waiting for the punch and Costa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Costa's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Costa advances position into side control!
Costa working the ground and pound.
Simans is letting Costa control him for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simans takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Costa takes a little break here. Simans wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Costa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Simans down.
Costa lands a nice forearm strike.
Costa has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Simans!
Costa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Costa working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Simans is looking to improve his position but Costa isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simans is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Costa locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Simans is forced to tap!
