The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali Baba tries for a takedown but Trezeguet circles away easily
and Trezeguet counters with a low kick, right behind Ali Baba 's knee.

It looks like Ahmed Ali Baba has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Trezeguet feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ali Baba's calf.
Trezeguet throws a series of punches but Ali Baba avoids them all with ease.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Trezeguet. Ali Baba shrugs it off though.
Ali Baba shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trezeguet sprawls well. Trezeguet wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ali Baba gets slowly back to his feet.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Trezeguet, right into the meat.
Ali Baba closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Trezeguet counters with a stiff right hand.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ali Baba stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trezeguet.

Trezeguet has taken the fight to the clinch.
Trezeguet tries to land knees in the clinch but Ali Baba avoids the damage to the body.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ali Baba. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Trezeguet stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Trezeguet dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ahmed Ali Baba's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Trezeguet misses the jab.
Ali Baba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trezeguet's waist but Trezeguet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali Baba off to one side.

and Trezeguet counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Trezeguet lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ali Baba's sensitive parts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trezeguet drops his shoulder and cracks Ali Baba with a huge uppercut! Ali Baba goes down! Can Trezeguet finish him?
Ali Baba is rocked!
Trezeguet slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Oh Ali Baba is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ali Baba is being controlled here.
A big shot lands for Trezeguet! That's hurt Ali Baba! Will he recover? Trezeguet fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
