These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big Show Jr throws a combination. Bowen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.

Big Show Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Big Show Jr tries to advance to mount but Bowen denies him.
Big Show Jr lands some shots froms side control.
Bowen wants to get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bowen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Big Show Jr is controlling him well.

Makebono Bowen's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bowen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Big Show Jr cracks Bowen with a big right hand but Bowen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jeez, Makebono Bowen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Makebono Bowen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
