Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carl Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Parisyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parisyen has chosen KPARISYEN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parisyen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Johnson's half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Parisyen is working for a kimura but Johnson is defending it quite comfortably.
Parisyen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Johnson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Johnson is looking to control Parisyen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johnson avoid being mounted? Parisyen seems to be working for a kimura but Johnson defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is trying to get back to full guard. Parisyen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Johnson has managed to free his arm - good work. Parisyen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Parisyen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Parisyen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Johnson sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parisyen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Johnson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Parisyen!
