Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Sir!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sir's head.


It looks like Pablo Sir has been cut.
Sir misses the jab.
Sir wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sir displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kennedy throws out the jab.
Kennedy throws a looping overhand right but Sir ducks down to avoid it.
Kennedy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sir manages to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Kennedy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sir doesn't seem phased though.
Kennedy misses with a wild combination.
Kennedy throws a right hand that Sir ducks under and follows up with a left that Sir also avoids with ease.
Sir moves out of range as Kennedy strikes.

Sir clinches.
Sir wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sir is looking to break free of the clinch but Kennedy has double underhooks.
Sir misses with a body punch.
Sir misses with the head strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kennedy lands a hook that snaps the head of Sir backwards.
Sir tries a body shot but Kennedy blocks it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sir.
Kennedy lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Kennedy misses with a punch on the inside.

Sir is trying to push Kennedy away but Kennedy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sir tries to pull guard but Kennedy forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Sir tries to break the clinch but Kennedy is controlling the position.

That has opened up Pablo Sir's cut even more.
Sir's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Sir has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kennedy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sir backwards.
Sir tries to circle away but Kennedy has him pinned against the cage.
Sir is trying to force a seperation but Kennedy has the dominant position.
Kennedy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Sir looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kennedy has Sir pressed against the cage, preventing Sir from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kennedy pushes Sir back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


The cut above Pablo Sir's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kennedy prevents Sir from breaking the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Kennedy.


Sir is rocked!
Kennedy comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Sir is still on wobbly legs! Can Kennedy finish him?
Sir fails to pull guard.
Sir seems to have recovered his senses.
Kennedy keeps control of Sir as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kennedy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sirs head.
Kennedy lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sir.
Sir looks winded!
Kennedy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kennedy lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Kennedy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sirs head.


Pablo Sir's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Kennedy blocks a body shot from Sir.
Kennedy lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Sir to his knees! Kennedy keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Kennedy!
