Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitor Belfort! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort fails with an attempt to clinch.
Aguilar blocks a head kick by Belfort.
Belfort closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aguilar circles away. Belfort shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Aguilar counters with a shoot takedown. Belfort fights it but they end up in guard. Belfort is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Belfort is trying to keep Aguilar in close.
Aguilar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Belfort misses with a takedown and Aguilar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Belfort tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aguilar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Belfort tries to clinch up and Aguilar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Belfort. The fight stays on the outside here - Belfort looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Belfort closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Belfort tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Aguilar tries to improve position but can't. Belfort tries to advance to mount but can't. Belfort thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Aguilar struggling a bit here. Aguilar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Aguilar tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguilar tries to buck Belfort off but Belfort is having none of it. Belfort is looking to take a break and control but Aguilar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Belfort decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aguilar checks a low kick from Belfort. Vitor Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belfort tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aguilar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Belfort throws a right hand that Aguilar ducks under and follows up with a left that Aguilar also avoids with ease. Belfort fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aguilar avoids it really well and circles away. Belfort doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aguilar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitor Belfort showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
