Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ima Punchon!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchon misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd cheers as Punchon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sailo doesn't seem phased though.
Sailo fails with the takedown
and Punchon counters with a straight right hand.
Punchon scores with a nice right hand.
Sailo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Punchon sprawls well. Punchon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sailo gets slowly back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sailo wants to sweep but no luck.
Punchon is pushing down on Sailo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sailo is fighting to maintain full guard but Punchon has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bruno Sailo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punchon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sailo throws a sloppy head kick
and Punchon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sailo shoots in and drives through. Punchon sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Sailo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Punchon counters with a crisp one two that drops Sailo! Punchon thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sailo to his feet! Sailo is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Punchon throws a pinpoint strike between Sailo's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Sailo crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Punchon scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ima Punchon!
Ima Punchon really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Blood Bank ($10) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
