Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Rickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean The Supernatural (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dean The Supernatural! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Rickles. The Supernatural swats away the attempt to clinch by Rickles. Rickles fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Supernatural avoids it really well and circles away. Rickles shoots in but The Supernatural avoids the takedown attempt easily. The Supernatural throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rickles throws a low kick but The Supernatural avoids it. Rickles tries to clinch up and The Supernatural counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. David Rickles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Supernatural has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rickles. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rickles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Rickles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rickles misses with a series of wild punches.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if The Supernatural can do anything to dispel that myth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The Supernatural stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Supernatural wants it to stay on the feet. The Supernatural dips to his left and cracks Rickles with an uppercut! The Supernatural connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rickles misses with a hook

Rickles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Supernatural seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Rickles trying to control but The Supernatural is working from the bottom.

The Supernatural is trying is best to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Supernatural makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Rickles throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The Supernatural slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The Supernatural should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rickles has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rickles there as he acknowledges the shot. Rickles doesn't manage to clinch there - The Supernatural circles away.
The Supernatural darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Rickles takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Rickles tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The Supernatural lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The Supernatural drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Supernatural misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rickles is trying to get back to half guard. Rickles throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Rickles wants to clinch up but The Supernatural keeps it at a distance. Rickles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Supernatural paws at him with a jab and circles away. The Supernatural connects with a single shot there. Rickles throws a poor cross that misses
and The Supernatural counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dean The Supernatural seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by The Supernatural. The Supernatural might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The Supernatural bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rickles's head backwards. Rickles looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. The Supernatural throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rickles on the side of the head. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rickles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Rickles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rickles shoots for a double leg takedown but The Supernatural sprawls well. He's pushed Rickles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rickles stuffs the takedown. Rickles wants to clinch up but The Supernatural keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by The Supernatural.
The Supernatural pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rickles back to the cage. The Supernatural follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Rickles misses with a shot to the body and The Supernatural counters with a takedown into side control. Rickles is looking for a sweep. The Supernatural really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rickles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The Supernatural working away. Rickles tries to improve position but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rickles wants to improve his position but The Supernatural is controlling well.

And that's the end of the fight! Dean The Supernatural comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think The Supernatural has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
