Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Murdoch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran McLee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Murdoch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kieran McLee! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLee tries to bum rush Murdoch with a series of wild strikes but Murdoch uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Murdoch tries to clinch but McLee moves away and McLee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Murdoch won't be happy with that. Murdoch is looking for a sweep. McLee wants to stand but Murdoch has his arm trapped. Murdoch sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Murdoch actively working from the bottom here. Murdoch is refusing to be controlled, as McLee sits in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Murdoch keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Murdoch tries to get to full guard but McLee has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murdoch regains full guard. Nicely done. McLee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Murdoch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McLee has managed to get both his arms back between Murdoch's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McLee looking to sit in guard and control but Murdoch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murdoch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Murdoch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Murdoch drops back, looking for a kneebar! McLee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McLee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McLee! Murdoch tries to improve position but can't. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McLee trying to control the position but Murdoch is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McLee tries to stand but Murdoch is controlling his head. McLee looking to control but instead Murdoch has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. McLee is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Murdoch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McLee pulls his head out easily. Murdoch wants to get back to full guard. Murdoch is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McLee has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Murdoch works to full guard. McLee stopping the sweep attempt from Murdoch. McLee trying to control but Murdoch is working from the bottom. Murdoch is looking for a triangle but McLee pushes his legs off easily.
McLee stands up from guard. Let's bang! Murdoch misses with a takedown attempt - McLee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McLee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murdoch swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fight moves into the clinch position. McLee successfully pulls guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Murdoch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Murdoch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McLee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McLee has escaped and now he's on top! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McLee advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Murdoch will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Jesse Murdoch has been cut. Murdoch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McLee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Murdoch fails to land the takedown. Murdoch fails in his attempt to clinch. McLee has closed the distance and engaged Murdoch in a clinch.
Murdoch jumps guard but McLee stands there with Murdoch around his waist. Murdoch gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McLee working hard to break the clinch. A short body shot lands from McLee as the two fighters clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. McLee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Murdoch is just too persistent for him and manages to trip McLee to the mat. McLee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. McLee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Murdoch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Murdoch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Murdoch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McLee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Murdoch has McLee in his guard.

Murdoch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McLee's guard. Murdoch with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Murdoch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McLee wants to stand and escape but Murdoch is having none of it. Murdoch slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murdoch wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McLee, who protects the arm well. Murdoch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McLee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Murdoch tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Murdoch tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Murdoch has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McLee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murdoch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McLee is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Murdoch has a takedown stuffed. Murdoch walks forward, straight into a front kick from McLee. McLee misses with a double jab.

Kieran McLee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McLee misses with a head kick.
Whack! McLee lands a heavy head kick that drops Murdoch. The ref tackles McLee to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Murdoch was done.
