Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trevor Mint!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuteboxe shoots and misses
and Mint counters with a head kick. That will keep Chuteboxe thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Luiz Chuteboxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mint tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chuteboxe stuffs the takedown.
Mint tries to clinch up but Chuteboxe circles away and keeps his distance.
Mint wants to clinch up but Chuteboxe keeps it at a distance.
Mint will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chuteboxe.
Mint works Chuteboxe's body with a nice hook.
Mint shoots in for a takedown but Chuteboxe shows good takedown defense.
Luiz Chuteboxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Mint.
Chuteboxe slips a jab and a cross from Mint.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mint.
Mint misses with a double jab.
Mint fails to land the takedown.
Mint looks winded!

Chuteboxe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mint sprawls well initially but Chuteboxe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Chuteboxe seems to be looking for submissions.

Chuteboxe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mint wants to control but Chuteboxe is keeping busy.

Chuteboxe seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Mint has recovered full guard.

Chuteboxe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mint's head.
Mint avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Chuteboxe throws a big elbow that misses.
Mint is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mint keeping full guard, as Chuteboxe tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mint is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Chuteboxe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mint keeping full guard, as Chuteboxe tries to pass.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chuteboxe drops back looking for a leg! Mint is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mint manages to kick Chuteboxe off! Chuteboxe jumps back into Mint's guard.
Chuteboxe forces his way into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Chuteboxe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mint doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chuteboxe.
Chuteboxe passes to full mount!

Chuteboxe looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Chuteboxe is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mint has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mint!

Mint got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chuteboxe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mint has managed to get both his arms back between Chuteboxe's legs - danger averted.
Chuteboxe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Chuteboxe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mint trying to control the position from guard on top but Chuteboxe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chuteboxe looking for a guillotine here but Mint defends easily.
Chuteboxe keeping moving, preventing Mint from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mint cracks Chuteboxe with a solid left hand.

Chuteboxe working for a triangle but Mint defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luiz Chuteboxe dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Mint ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Chuteboxe shoots in for a takedown but Mint shows good takedown defense.
Mint misses with a low kick.
Chuteboxe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mint connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chuteboxe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Mint to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Chuteboxe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mint bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


Chuteboxe is rocked!

Mint closes the distance looking for a takedown. Chuteboxe stuffs it but Mint still has hold of him. Mint picks Chuteboxe up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Mint slams Chuteboxe to the floor and that's really hurt Chuteboxe - he doesn't know where he is! Mint throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevor Mint!
