Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rank Rox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by Downstait - This Is My Life. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Rank Rox enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rox misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rox avoids it really well and circles away.
Rox misses with a straight right.
Rox misses with an uppercut.
Martin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rox counters with an outside leg kick.
Martin shoots and misses
enabling Rox to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Rox counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A nice inside leg kick there by Rox. That's going to slow Martin down.
Martin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rox to the ground. Martin is now in Rox's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin shoots in but Rox avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Martin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rox does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Rox is looking for a sweep. Martin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rox stuffs the takedown attempt from Martin. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
Martin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Martin needs to keep his hands up - Rox had a free shot at his head there.
Rox bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Martin's head backwards.
Rox connects with a leg kick. Martin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Donk. Rox catches Martin right on the button with a cross.

Martin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rox keeps working.

I would just about give that final round to Rank Rox.
I think Rox has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
