Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelby Toe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toe's entrance music is Here Comes the Boom!. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toe misses with a takedown
and Gilbert counters with a nice low kick that buckles Toe's knee momentarily.
Toe looks to score with a jab to the body but Gilbert is just out of range.
Toe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gilbert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Toe shoots in but Gilbert avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Toe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Toe jumps guard but Gilbert turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.

Gilbert's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Toe has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gilbert clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Toe is hanging on to Gilbert's back as he tries to escape.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Toe lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Toe is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gilbert knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gilbert for a finish.

Gilbert goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Toe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gilbert but great work by Toe.
Toe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Toe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Toe is looking to control Gilbert's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Toe avoid being mounted?

Toe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Toe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gilbert manages to avoid it.
Toe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Toe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gilbert is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Toe off and has taken his back!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Gilbert is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Toe is just riding it out for now. Gilbert eventually gives up the hold.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
