Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pip Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Brennan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jay shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brennan as he avoids it easily.
Brennan misses with a wild combination.
Brennan checks the leg kick.
Jay fails with the takedown.
Brennan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pip Jay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jay misses with a body shot.
Brennan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brennan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jay backs up against the cage.

Oh Jay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jay. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Jay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Well Brennan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
