Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noel Severino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ipad Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Noel Severino has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ipad Apple!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple shoots in looking for a takedown but Severino manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Apple's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Apple shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Severino as he avoids it easily.
Severino looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Severino swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left lands for Apple.
Apple fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Noel Severino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ipad Apple.
Apple tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A jab from Severino finds it's way through Apple's defenses.
Apple tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Severino paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Apple shoots in looking for a takedown. Severino tries to sprawl out of it but Apple keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Severino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Apple takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Severino throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Apple tries to score a power double leg takedown but Severino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Apple somewhat.

Apple throws a head kick but Severino moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Apple.
Severino is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Apple.

Apple wants to clinch up but Severino keeps it at a distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Apple takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A close round but Ipad Apple will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Apple slaps away a takedown attempt from Severino, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ipad Apple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Severino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Apple swivels and escapes.

A looping hook to the body misses from Severino. Apple does a little dance to reset his feet.
Apple fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Severino.

Ipad Apple seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Apple scores with a head kick. Severino tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Apple tries to close the distance and clinch but Severino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Apple dives in and grabs Severino's left leg, looking for a takedown. Severino pushes down on Apple's head and hops out.
Apple fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Apple closes the distance and clinches.
Apple throws a head punch that misses.
Severino is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Apple gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Severino pulls Apple into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Severino is looking for a triangle but Apple pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Severino is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Apple has his hands clasped together but Severino extends an breaks Apple's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Severino.
