PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ari Tetheran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lang has chosen Im Gonna Kill You as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang leaves Tetheran with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tetheran shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tetheran scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tetheran shoots in but Lang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ari Tetheran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tetheran throws a sloppy head kick
and Lang counters with a one-two to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tetheran rushes Lang and presses him up against the cage.
Tetheran landing knees to the head.

Tetheran gets control of Lang 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tetheran will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tetheran is looking for a triangle but Lang pushes his legs off easily.

Lang drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lang seems to have locked his on tight now - Tetheran screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lang , as he picks up the win!
