Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Major Lazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lazer comes to the cage accompanied by Major Lazer - Pon De Floor. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Major Lazer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Stallion! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lazer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stallion thows a body shot but no joy. Stallion throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lazer. A combination from Stallion does no damage. Stallion throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lazer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stallion's guard now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stallion wants to sweep here but Lazer controlling him for the moment. Lazer lands a couple of elbows. Lazer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stallion is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stallion wants to take a breather but Lazer is having none of it. Lazer wants to control but Stallion is keeping busy and won't allow it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lazer works his way to full guard. Good work. Lazer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stallion is one step ahead there. Lazer is working hard here to advance position. Stallion must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stallion with a flurry of punches that miss. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lazer holds on and takes a little breather. Stallion stands up over Lazer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lazer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stallion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Stallion throws an elbow that misses. Lazer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stallion's guard. Nice move by Lazer! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stallion looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lazer looking to pass the guard. Lazer with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stallion trying to keep a closed guard but Lazer is proving a slippery customer.
Lazer lands a couple of digs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stallion looking to control.
Lazer trying to control the position from guard on top but Stallion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stallion is looking to stand back up but Lazer counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Stallion. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stallion is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stallion won't allow Lazer to pass to mount. Lazer is trying to control the action in half guard but Stallion is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stallion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lazer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stallion wants to improve his position but Lazer is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lazer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stallion! Stallion is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lazer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Stallion is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lazer with good strikes from the mount here! Lazer controlling the pace for now. Lazer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Stallion?
Stallion is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lazer lands a big shot to the head and Stallion winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Major Lazer! An out of breath Major Lazer thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
