Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Wilshere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Slayer - War Ensamble as his entrance music. Dom Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Wilshere! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dom Jackson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilshere slips a straight right by Jackson. Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Wilshere ducks down to avoid it. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Wilshere saw that one coming. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilshere clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage. Wilshere wants to break free but Jackson has control.
Wilshere jumps guard and drags Jackson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jackson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wilshere's guard. Wilshere pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilshere wants to sweep but no luck. Jackson stands and steps away. Wilshere gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Wilshere feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jackson wants to stand but Wilshere is controlling the position. Wilshere decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wilshere has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Jackson tries to break the clinch but Wilshere is controlling the position. Jackson looks gassed! Wilshere wants to break free but Jackson has control.
Wilshere escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wilshere shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wilshere takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jackson is trying to stand. Wilshere landing strikes from the mount and Jackson is in trouble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilshere won't let Jackson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Wilshere looking to finish Jackson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jackson! Wilshere with the ground and pound from mount. Wilshere breaks from Jackson's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wilshere looking to control and managing it successfully. Wilshere forces the positional change into back control. I would not like to be Jackson right now.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jackson holding both Wilshere 's hands and preventing any damage. Wilshere has his opponent's back but Jackson is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Wilshere.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a jab when Wilshere was well out of range. Jackson throws a head kick but Wilshere moves out of range.

Wilshere forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches. Jackson tries to work over Wilshere's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wilshere jumps into guard, dragging Jackson to the mat.
Wilshere controls Jackson momentarily but Jackson frees himself. Wilshere wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson stands up and waves to Wilshere to follow him. Nice sprawl there from Jackson as Wilshere shoots in. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilshere has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wilshere prevents a body shot from Jackson. Wilshere wants a takedown.
Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wilshere shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jackson has his feet on Wilshere's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wilshere wants to land a leg kick but Jackson is out of range. Wilshere drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wilshere has just dragged him back down to the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilshere cracks Jackson with a big right hand but Jackson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jackson tries to escape but Wilshere is in control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilshere changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wilshere decides to take the fight back to the feet. A swing and a miss from Jackson. Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Wilshere slips the punch. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Wilshere drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson wants to stand and escape but Wilshere is having none of it. Jackson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wilshere dives into side control.
Wilshere tries for a kimura but Jackson is defending well. Wilshere trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wilshere stands up and beckons Jackson to his feet. Jackson is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson throws a body punch but Wilshere moves out of range. Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Wilshere's shoulder, as Wilshere tries to avoid the shot. Jackson avoids the head kick by Wilshere.
Jack Wilshere is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wilshere moves out of range as Jackson strikes. Wilshere slips under a jab from Jackson. Wilshere has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wilshere has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jackson is trying to keep an underhook but Wilshere manages to get the takedown into half guard. Jackson tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Wilshere manages to move to mount!

Wilshere will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wilshere trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Jackson doesn't escape. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. Wilshere has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wilshere is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jackson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Wilshere controls the action. Wilshere lands a shot to the head. Wilshere connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Jackson to escape the position.

Jackson wants to get back to his feet. A bit of a pause in the action here. Wilshere controlling the positon. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. Jackson manages to stand up with Wilshere still on his back. Eventually Wilshere drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilshere is looking to land body kicks. Wilshere closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard. Jackson pushes Wilshere off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Wilshere tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson throws a hook to the side of Wilshere's head but Wilshere sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wilshere tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackson throws the left hand but Wilshere avoids the punch easily. Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dom Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Wilshere takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Wilshere shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wilshere not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Wilshere from controlling successfully. Wilshere is stalling in the full guard. Jackson is working an open guard so Wilshere takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wilshere tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.

Wilshere feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Wilshere changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilshere stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position. Wilshere sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Wilshere frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jackson really wants to buck Wilshere off and get back to his feet. Jackson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilshere lands a big elbow. Wilshere blocks Jackson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Wilshere content just to control the position here. You get the feeling that Jackson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

And that's the end of the fight! Jack Wilshere showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilshere, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
