McCollins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Go Getter. Malham has chosen John's Walkout as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riley McCollins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Malham!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCollins keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Malham throws a big shot that misses.
McCollins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Malham makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Malham connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McCollins momentarily.
McCollins attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
McCollins just misses with a punch to the body.
McCollins scores with a jab to the head.
McCollins throws a nice looking combination but Malham bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Malham. McCollins shrugs it off though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McCollins lands a left and a right that send Malham crashing to the mat, dazed. McCollins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like John Malham has been cut.
McCollins looks to land a combination but Malham avoids it well.

Malham fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCollins.
McCollins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Malham manages to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malham, as that shot connected.

and Malham decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McCollins's guard.
Malham tries to free his leg and advance position but McCollins is retaining full guard.
