Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benson Hedges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael comes to the cage accompanied by Stairway to Heaven. Hedges has chosen Jason 'Mayhem' Miller Dream 9 Entrance as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michael tries to bum rush Hedges with a series of wild strikes but Hedges uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A big left from Michael misses.
Michael throws a leg kick but Hedges moved away.
Michael pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hedges slips a jab from Michael.

Michael gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hedges drops back looking for a leg! Michael is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Michael manages to kick Hedges off! Hedges jumps back into Michael's guard.

Hedges decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A combination from Michael does no damage.

Hedges closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hedges seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Michael is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
