Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ernesto Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonjasky's entrance music is -=Fried Day=-. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ernesto Bonjasky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Li! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li thows a leg kick but Bonjasky checks it and Bonjasky counters with a two punch combo. Li looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Li delivers a nice body kick. Li tries a head kick but it misses.
Li throws a half hearted mid kick. Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Li buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bonjasky tries to land a front kick but Li steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bonjasky checks a leg kick. Bonjasky goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Li uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bonjasky.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bonjasky throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Li fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Li counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bonjasky is lucky that one didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonjasky avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Both fighters circling a little - Li finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ken Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Li blocks a head kick by Bonjasky.
Li feints and then cracks Bonjasky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bonjasky down. Li fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bonjasky. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Li. A telegraphed right hand from Bonjasky misses the target. Bonjasky moves out of range of the body kick. Bonjasky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Li. Li blocks the body kick.
Li shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Good work by Bonjasky as he checks the leg kick. Li is looking to slow Bonjasky down with leg kicks. Li looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Bonjasky throws a sloppy head kick and Li moves out of range easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Li throws a head kick that misses. A solid leg kick lands there for Bonjasky.

Li tries to work over Bonjasky's front leg with a kick but Bonjasky checks it. Li rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bonjasky moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Li tries to clinch but Bonjasky moves out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Li just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bonjasky's brow. Bonjasky scores with a shot to the side of Li's head. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Li missing with knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Li's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Li chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Li thows a leg kick but Bonjasky checks it and Bonjasky makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bonjasky looks for the body kick but Li saw that one coming. Li avoids the head kick by Bonjasky.
Li ducks under a wild hook from Bonjasky. Bonjasky catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Li stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Li walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Li is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Li throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bonjasky counters with a straight right hand that connects right on the button, dropping Li face first to the canvas! He's out! He's out cold! No need for a count here - this fight is over!
