Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andre Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ossss Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre Gracie could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ossss Steve's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ossss Steve! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steve tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steve to the ground. Steve escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Steve defends it nicely. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Steve feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Steve throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Steve. Gracie can't keep his opponent in guard - Steve advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Steve looks winded! Steve thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head. Steve is looking for a kimura here.
Steve tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gracie is trying to get back to full guard. Steve is trying to work for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Steve gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Steve postures up in Gracie's guard and throws a big left but Gracie blocks it. Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Steve throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely. Steve throwing strikes but missing. Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Steve has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steve stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Steve shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steve with a flurry of punches that miss. Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Steve defends easily.
Steve is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Gracie keeping full guard, as Steve tries to pass. Steve working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Steve pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Gracie is working an open guard so Steve takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gracie throws a series of strikes that have Steve backpedaling.
Ossss Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Steve is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Steve. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steve working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gracie is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steve lands in his opponent's guard. Steve with a flurry of punches that miss. Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Steve defends easily.
Steve stands up from Gracie's guard - Steve perhaps looking for a knockout. Steve shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Steve tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gracie. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Steve is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows. Steve stands up from Gracie's guard - Steve perhaps looking for a knockout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Steve. Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steve swivels and escapes. Steve scores with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Steve is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Steve has managed to sneak the leg through. Gracie wants to improve his position but Steve is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie won't allow Steve to pass to mount. Steve seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Steve moves into full mount! Gracie won't be happy about that! Steve get's back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ossss Steve showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steve to score an easy takedown into full guard. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. Steve tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steve's guard. Steve wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment. Steve is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Steve trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Steve pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Steve is keeping the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Gracie is fighting to break Steve's control of his arms but Steve is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Steve working a defensive guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ossss Steve. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Steve sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steve scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Steve decides to stand back up. Andre Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Steve is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard. Gracie wants to get back to full guard. Steve seems to be working for a kimura but Gracie defends the submission attempt. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steve controls from within his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Steve defends easily.
Steve gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting. Andre Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Steve closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard. Steve missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ossss Steve comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Steve has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
