Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gale comes into the arena with Iron Maiden-The Trooper blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Gale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - St Pierre looks like he's thinking about clinching though. St Pierre swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gale avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gale blocks a low kick nicely. Gale shoots in looking for a takedown. St Pierre tries to sprawl out of it but Gale keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. St Pierre manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gale lands with an uppercut that bounces St Pierre off the ropes and back into range. Gale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gale displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. St Pierre gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gale to score an easy takedown into full guard. St Pierre working for a triangle but Gale defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gale won't allow St Pierre to get back to his feet. Gale trying to control but St Pierre is working from the bottom. Gale looking to control the position here, rather than advance. St Pierre has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gale is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for St Pierre.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is being controlled here. St Pierre prevents Gale from improving position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is not content to let Gale control the position. St Pierre is trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gale wants to control but St Pierre is keeping him busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Chris Gale just wasn't active enough. Gale with a nice cross. St Pierre throws a combination that misses and Gale moves into the clinch. A short uppercut from St Pierre. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Gale pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gale takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. St Pierre tries to bum rush Gale with a series of wild strikes but Gale uses good footwork to avoid the assault. St Pierre tries a low kick but Gale avoids it. Gale drops St Pierre with a huge uppercut! St Pierre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Gale is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Gale! Chris Gale made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Come on george your gonna have to try alot harder then that to beat this wanderer'.
