Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pip Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistar Krillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pip Tepes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alistar Krillan! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tepes clinches up against the cage. Tepes stalling the fight.
Krillan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Krillan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tepes pulls his leg out and moves away.
Krillan tries to clinch but Tepes is having none of it. Tepes wants to clinch. Tepes dives in and grabs Krillan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krillan pushes down on Tepes's head and hops out. Tepes fails with a takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Tepes.
Tepes fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pip Tepes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krillan scores with a head kick.
It looks like Pip Tepes has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Tepes. No joy for Krillan on that attempt. Tepes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. You can see the frustration on Krillan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Krillan pushes Tepes away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tepes gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Tepes has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Horrible takedown by Krillan or perhaps it was just good defense by Tepes which made him look bad. Tepes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tepes gets a double leg takedown into Krillan's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Krillan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Krillan looks winded! Tepes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tepes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tepes trying to control but Krillan is working from the bottom. Krillan has his feet on Tepes's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krillan shoots in and drives through. Tepes sprawls well. Tepes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tepes wants to stand but Krillan has his arm trapped. Tepes controlling from side mount. Krillan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tepes's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Krillan is looking to control Tepes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Krillan avoid being mounted? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tepes lands with a punch from half guard. Krillan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tepes pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pip Tepes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pip Tepes's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tepes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Krillan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Tepes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Krillan did well to prevent Tepes getting side control. Krillan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krillan punching from the bottom.

Tepes is looking to advance position but Krillan won't allow it. Tepes wants to stand up but Krillan is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tepes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Krillan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Krillan trying to control from the bottom.
Tepes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Krillan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tepes. Tepes is pressing down on Krillan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Krillan is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krillan is trying to maintain the position but Tepes is very close to passing his half guard. Krillan missing with punches from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tepes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Krillan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Krillan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tepes circles away. Tepes shoots in looking for a takedown but Krillan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tepes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pip Tepes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tepes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Krillan fails with a takedown attempt. Krillan goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Krillan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tepes counters with a one-two to the body. Krillan slaps away a takedown attempt from Tepes, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tepes shoots in looking for a takedown but Krillan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tepes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters circling a little - Krillan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tepes tries to clinch up but Krillan circles away and keeps his distance. Tepes walks into a stiff left hand from Krillan. Sloppy strikes from Tepes. Those never looked like landing. Krillan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tepes.
Tepes misses with a takedown attempt - Krillan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Krillan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tepes misses with a head kick.
Krillan fails to land the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tepes closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Pip Tepes will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Pip Tepes's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Krillan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tepes as he avoids it easily. Tepes wants to clinch. Tepes misses with a leg kick and Krillan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Krillan. Krillan looking for a takedown. Krillan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tepes throws a series of punches but Krillan moves out of range. Krillan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pip Tepes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alistar Krillan. Tepes throws a sloppy head kick and Krillan moves out of range easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tepes has had enough of the clinch but Krillan keeps him there for the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tepes misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Krillan.
Tepes wants to get back to striking at distance but Krillan won't allow it.
Krillan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tepes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Krillan drives through and clinches with Tepes against the cage.
Krillan stalling in the clinch but Tepes improves position. Tepes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Krillan to keep the fight standing. Krillan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tepes walks away with a smile on his face. Krillan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Krillan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tepes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tepes shoots in and gets a takedown into Krillan's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tepes stops Krillan from standing up. Tepes would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Krillan pushes Tepes off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tepes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Krillan's guard. Tepes passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krillan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Krillan tries to kick Tepes off but Tepes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Krillan is trying to maintain the position but Tepes is very close to passing his half guard. Krillan pushes Tepes off looking to stand but Tepes dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Pip Tepes wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tepes fails with a takedown attempt. Alistar Krillan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pip Tepes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krillan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And that's the end of the fight! Pip Tepes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tepes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
