The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dias defends it nicely.
Tony Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez shoots in looking for a takedown but Dias manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lopez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lopez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Adolfo Dias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Lopez.
Dias lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lopez shoots in but no luck this time.
Lopez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dias but Dias pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lopez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

It looks like Tony Lopez has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lopez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lopez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dias but Dias pushes him off and we're back to square one.
An inside leg kick lands from Dias.

Lopez takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Dias lands a big head kick that sends Lopez tumbling to the mat! Dias takes a step backwards and waves Lopez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That has opened up Tony Lopez's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dias dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lopez. That did some damage!
Dias lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Lopez head around and knocks him out cold! Dias hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
