Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Trott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Athan Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Trott might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cochise - Audioslave. Stamatis has chosen Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Trott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Athan Stamatis!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamatis checks a low kick from Trott.
Stamatis avoids the head kick by Trott.
Trott lands a really nice looking cross but Stamatis seems unphased.
Stamatis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stamatis lands a nice leg kick that just misses Trott's sensitive parts.
Stamatis throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Trott counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stamatis's knee momentarily.
Trott takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stamatis drops his hands momentarily and Trott takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Stamatis throws a sloppy head kick and Trott moves out of range easily.
Athan Stamatis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stamatis takes a swing at Trott's ribcage but misses.
Stamatis catches Trott with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A good leg kick by Trott.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stamatis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Trott moves out of range of the body kick from Stamatis.
Stamatis throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stamatis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Trott.
Trott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Trott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Trott cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Trott is landing with some decent strikes but Stamatis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Trott loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stamatis scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Trott land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Trott stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathan Trott!
Jonathan Trott decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
