Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zotov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Zotov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Knuckle throws the left hand but Zotov avoids the punch easily.
Some wild striking there from Knuckle.
Zotov misses with a leg kick.
Zotov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Knuckle's sensitive parts.
Knuckle clinches with his opponent.
Knuckle lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Zotov misses with a punch on the inside.
Knuckle lands a left hand.
Zotov trying to stall but Knuckle improves his position.
Knuckle has clasped his hands together around Zotov's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Knuckle trying to control the action but Zotov is working from the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zotov takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Zotov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Zotov wants to control but Knuckle is keeping busy.
Knuckle seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Zotov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Knuckle pulls his head out easily.

Knuckle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zotov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Knuckle tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Zotov.
Knuckle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zotov tries to lock up and control but Knuckle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zotov can't escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Knuckle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

BOOM! Knuckle connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Knuckle wants to stand but Zotov has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Zotov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Zotov controls Knuckle momentarily but Knuckle frees himself.
Knuckle lands a couple of digs.
Knuckle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Knuckle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zotov is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Knuckle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Zotov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Knuckle defends it easily.
Zotov has his foot on Knuckle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Knuckle works his way back into a safe position though.
Knuckle wants to stand but Zotov is controlling his posture from full guard.

Knuckle has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zotov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Knuckle is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zotov pulls down on the head and he's put Knuckle to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Maksim Zotov!
