Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayer has chosen I´m shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Johnny Turk has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johnny Turk seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mayer.
Mayer tries to land a leg kick but Turk saw it coming and moves away.
Mayer misses with a wild combination.
Turk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Turk cracks Mayer with an open hand slap.
It looks like John Mayer has been cut.
Mayer throws a leg kick that is checked
and Turk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oooh a lovely combination from Turk sends Mayer down but not out. Turk dives into side control looking to finish.
Mayer is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mayer is trying to get back to half guard.
Mayer takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mayer is still in real trouble! Can Turk finish him?
That has opened up John Mayer's cut even more.
Mayer parries the strikes from Turk easily there. Turk is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mayer to escape.
Mayer seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes there by Turk.
Mayer avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Turk.
Turk scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Mayer is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Turk can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Turk!
