The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Faber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and heebo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from heebo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Faber misses with a few strikes there.
heebo shoots in for a takedown but Faber shows good takedown defense.
Faber fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. heebo sprawls well initially but Faber persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
heebo is trying to stand back up but Faber is controlling him

Faber wants to free his trapped foot but heebo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
heebo is trying to control but Faber passes into side control!
Faber creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Faber in side control, throwing shots but heebo defends.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

heebo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
heebo gets full guard.
Faber is breathing heavily.
heebo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
heebo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
heebo is looking to take a break and control but Faber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Faber is looking to control heebo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Faber avoid being mounted?
heebo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Faber does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
