Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels comes to the cage accompanied by Ky-Mani Marley - Ghetto Soldier. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ortiz.
The fight stays on the outside here - Michaels looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ortiz is looking to clinch but Michaels is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Ortiz or perhaps it was just good defense by Michaels which made him look bad.
Ortiz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Michaels stuffs the takedown attempt from Ortiz. Ortiz gets slowly back to his feet.
Michaels looks to clinch
and Ortiz counters with a single leg into guard. Michaels didn't expect that.
Ortiz is looking to stand up but Michaels won't let him.
Michaels throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ortiz escapes and throws Michaels's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Michaels is not content to let Ortiz control the position.

Michaels is looking for a sweep.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ortiz gets to mount! Michaels was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ortiz looking to control but Michaels is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Michaels is trying to escape the mount.
Ortiz wants to control the pace but Michaels is squirming around nicely.
Michaels really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ortiz looking to control and managing it successfully.

Ortiz trying to control but Michaels is having none of it.
Michaels gets back to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Michaels makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Michaels.
Michaels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ortiz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ortiz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Michaels is breathing heavily.
Ortiz gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ortiz misses with a two punch combination.
Michaels gets caught flat footed, as Ortiz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ortiz wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Michaels's closed guard. He's half up but Michaels has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Michaels pivots and extends the arm, Ortiz falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Michaels! Well done that man!
