Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aster Roid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Busta Smirnov!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roid works Smirnov's body with a nice hook.
Roid throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smirnov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smirnov shoots and misses
and Roid counters with a left to the body.
Smirnov looks winded!
Roid is looking to slow Smirnov down with leg kicks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smirnov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Busta Smirnov has been cut.
Roid scoring well with a low kick there.
Roid misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Smirnov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Roid - the referee stops the clock and Smirnov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Roid. Smirnov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Roid throws a quick inside leg kick.
Roid rushes Smirnov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Smirnov avoiding damage as Roid throws knees to the body.
Roid breaks from the clinch.
Roid lands a nice hook to Smirnov's body. Smirnov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Roid catches Smirnov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Roid buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Roid lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roid connects with a leg kick. Smirnov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Aster Roid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Roid. Smirnov shrugs it off though.
Roid dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smirnov. That did some damage!
Roid turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Smirnov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Roid scores with a body shot.
Roid connects with a solid leg kick.
Roid fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smirnov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Smirnov is rocked!
Smirnov is holding his hands too far apart here. Roid throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Smirnov is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
