Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chad Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Mendes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Corleone! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendes avoids the head kick by Corleone.
Mendes swats away the attempt to clinch by Corleone. Mendes stuffs the takedown attempt from Corleone. Corleone gets slowly back to his feet. Mendes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Corleone is not content to let Mendes control the position. Corleone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corleone is trying to maintain the position but Mendes is very close to passing his half guard. Mendes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Corleone's head. Corleone wants to sweep but Mendes has passed to side control! Corleone tries to control but Mendes manages to take his back. Corleone looking very determined here, making life difficult for Mendes.
Mendes has the hooks in. Corleone is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendes lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Corleone.
Mendes is looking for the choke from the back position but Corleone is controlling his hands well. Mendes doesn't have the hooks in and Corleone manages to turn into his guard.
Mendes trying to keep a closed guard but Corleone is proving a slippery customer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mendes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Corleone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mendes wants to sweep here but Corleone controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corleone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mendes seems keen to control Corleone's posture. Corleone would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mendes pulls Corleone in close to prevent any damage. Mendes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Corleone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mendes keeping moving, preventing Corleone from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Corleone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kevin Corleone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Corleone misses with a takedown attempt - Mendes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Corleone doesn't manage to clinch there - Mendes circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Mendes dominated that round. That's time! Mendes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Corleone misses with a takedown attempt - Mendes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Corleone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mendes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Corleone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Corleone working a defensive guard here.
Mendes wants to control from the top but Corleone keeps moving. Corleone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mendes is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corleone doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Corleone looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mendes passes into side control.
Mendes cracks Corleone with an elbow. That is naaassty. Corleone is breathing heavily. Mendes takes a little break here. Corleone wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Corleone tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corleone turns into Mendes and is now in his guard.
Mendes managing to control the position. Corleone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mendes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Corleone is looking to defend but Mendes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Corleone! Mendes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Corleone taps out and this one is all over!
